The Congress of Union Retirees of Canada (CURC) has been talking these issues for years in their pre-retirement training sessions. We just didn’t have a way for participants to do the calculations. This calculator now gives folks a way to see the issues with a dollar amount attached. This is a great and very welcome tool that CURC can share with participants to do a better job of assessing their personal situations and potential costs.
